The World Health Organisation define rehabilitation as “a set of interventions designed to optimize functioning and reduce disability in individuals with health conditions in interaction with their environment”
Through rehabilitation we aim to restore our patients' function and reduce recovery time whether that be a return to a functional gait pattern after orthopaedic surgery or maximising quality of life during management of a chronic pain condition.
We work as a team combining veterinary pain management, physiotherapy, electrotherapy (including; laser, therapeutic ultrasound, H-wave, Neuromuscular electrical stimulation), environmental management, weight management and more to maximise your pets treatment outcomes.
The Physiotherapy service is offered via M J Faal Chartered Physiotherapy and offers veterinary physiotherapeutic consultancy to canine, feline, equine and exotic patients.
Manessa has extensive experience, qualifications and training within both human and veterinary physiotherapy and with over 20 years experience working with large and small animals
